The Information and Guidance Centre is a public service open to allThis website is for young people (pupils, students, apprentices, non-schoolchildren), parents of pupils and adults (looking for a career plan or training), enabling you to :
- inform you professions, the education system, training (initial, school, university, vocational, sandwich and continuing education)
- ask for advice to make a decision, consider a personal training project and professional integration
- choose your studies and a professional sector to suit your tastes, aptitudes and personality.
Consultation at the IOC is free and anonymous. You can come in person without appointment and be welcomed by CIO staff who will help you with your research.
However, it is possible to make an appointment for a personal consultation with a guidance counsellor at the CIO, collège or lycée.
The CIOs are part of the Ministry of Education. The staff working in the CIOs are CIO directors, national education psychologists and administrative staff.
