With its 1,000 Tree Plan, the municipality is committed to plant 1,000 new trees in the municipality between 2020 and 2026The aim is to strengthen the role of trees in the city and make everyday life more pleasant for the people of Nocé.
Through this ecological objectiveAs part of its commitment to the environment, the town intends to play an active part in increasing its tree population and encouraging initiatives to promote biodiversity.
- 600 trees and 600 shrubs planted in less than a year, including 130 subjects in the vicinity of the Théâtre de Verdure in the Parc des 33 hectares ;
- Particular attention is paid to the choice of tree species, to guarantee biodiversity ;
- 50 000 m² of green spaces maintained daily by its 36 green space agents.
This major mobilisation of municipal resources is aimed at restoring the character of a garden city of the municipality. Today, the town is stepping up its efforts in terms of flowering and preserving its tree population, with a view to supporting its application for the the 4e flower in the towns and villages in bloom competition.
