A call for individual responsibility
Every year, a number of letters arrive at the Town Hall highlighting the discomfort and hygiene problems, particularly in the green spaces frequented by children.

Small incentives for cleanliness, but nothing can replace it individual responsibilityIt is the owner's responsibility to pick up after his pet. A municipal by-law has been issued to this effect.
Penalties
- Leaving dog mess outside authorised areas is punishable by a fine of 68 € (fixed fine) or 450 € maximum (article R633-6 of the French Penal Code)
- Failure to comply with the departmental sanitation regulations (RSD) is punishable by a fine of 450 € maximum (article 103G): dog mess outside authorised areas
Dog on lead
According to a municipal by-law, dogs must be kept on a lead on public roads and in parks. As a precaution, they are not permitted at entrances to establishments for children or the elderly.
Penalties
- Failure to comply with a municipal by-law is punishable by a fine of 38 € (article R.610-5 of the French Criminal Code)
- Failure to comply with the departmental sanitary regulations (RSD) is punishable by a fine of 450 € maximum (article 103G): dog on a lead
